This event is free, but donations are accepted.

Please plan early for transportation to this series. Adult family members, significant others and caretakers are welcome to attend.

 

Adults living with epilepsy frequently experience anxiety and depression. Our three part series is specifically designed to address these issues by identifying symptoms and opportunities to improve these conditions. If anxiety and/or depression are affecting you, please join us for an opportunity to make positive changes in your life.
Facilitated by a clinical psychologist, in a safe and comfortable environment, you will learn strategies to empower yourself to live your life to the fullest. You deserve it!

Part One
• Understanding the chemical and physiological causes of Anxiety and Depression (underlying cause, seizures, epilepsy medications, and response to condition)
• Is it Anxiety or Depression? Identifying the symptoms

Part Two
Learn how to change your thinking to improve:
1. Perception
2. Outlook
3. Mood and overall well being

Part Three
Learn how to change actions/behaviors to make lasting, positive changes in your life.
